Who is your favorite current royal and why?

HM, Queen Elizabeth II, hands down. Why? She’s the original badass.

I mean, she’s been the Queen for 60 years, she’s seen everything from the terrors of WWII to the first black president of the United States. When she was crowned Queen, she probably never imagined that one day she would be living in a world that included computers, the internet, smartphones or space travel. She ascended the throne in a time when women were seen as nothing more than pretty decorations that happened to produce babies, but there she was, becoming the head of state to The United Kingdom and the commonwealth nations.We know nearly nothing about her and she’s never given an interview. She is at once intriguing and foreboding. She is unflappable, elegant, and timeless. She has stood as the face of many nations for as long as most people can remember.

Basically, she’s the most incredible woman I can think of, in nearly every way. Her stoicism, strength, and utter dedication to her role is impressive in a way that we just can’t fully understand. The joy and sense of stability that she brings not only to her own country, but to the world at large is unmatched. I truly do not think that there will ever be another woman like HM. She can never be replaced and will leave a legacy that will last for centuries after she has gone.
